About

I’m Jest Dynn, a songwriter and performer from the South Wales valleys. My work weaves folk, indie and spoken word into songs about trauma recovery, relationships, and the social fabric around us. I write from lived experience, often with stripped-back guitar and voice, leaning into storytelling that connects survival with shared humanity. My practice moves between live performance, community workshops, and collaborative projects that blur music, theatre and visual arts. I’m interested in building spaces where people can be honest, playful and heard. Collaboration is at the heart of what I do—I’m open to working with musicians, poets, filmmakers, visual artists and community groups who want to co-create meaningful, immersive work that speaks to both personal and collective recovery.
