I'm Taiye Omokore, a passionate photographer from Nigeria, currently based in Cardiff, UK. My art focuses on storytelling through fashion and portraiture, capturing both aesthetics and personal narratives. I advocate for sustainable fashion, emphasizing environmental concerns. My work celebrates black beauty and identity, aiming to showcase the diversity within the black community. Recognized in prestigious publications and exhibitions, I was shortlisted for the Sony World Photography Award in 2023 and featured in Vogue Greece, Dazed, and Cardiff Life Magazine. Awards include winning Visual Artist of the Year at the Black History Wales Award 2023 and Cardiff Life Awards finalist in 2023.
