The Role
We’re looking for a WordPress Developer to join our creative team and play a key role in building high-quality, engaging websites. You’ll work closely with designers and strategists from project inception to launch, ensuring seamless execution and problem-solving along the way.
You'll contribute ideas, identify challenges before they arise, and collaborate to create solutions that push the boundaries of web development. This is an opportunity to grow your skills, work with exciting brands, and explore new technologies beyond WordPress.
What You’ll Do
- Develop custom WordPress websites using HTML5, CSS3, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Analyse project requirements, propose solutions, and meet client deadlines
- Maintain high coding standards and test projects thoroughly
- Clearly communicate technical concepts to clients and team members
- Stay up to date with new frameworks, platforms, and best practices
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- 3+ years of web development experience
- Strong WordPress expertise (custom themes, plugins, performance optimization)
- Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach
- Ability to manage workloads in a fast-paced environment
Desirable:
- Experience with Sass, APIs, React, Ajax, OOP, DNS, or SEO
- Familiarity with Shopify and Linux server management
- Knowledge of accessibility, data protection, and web security best practices
